There may be occasions when you need a printed copy of your menu or price list, such as:
- In the event of a power or internet outage
- In the event of a technical issue that prevents customers from accessing qReveal's servers
- For customers who do not have a personal mobile device
- For customers who have a mobile device but it is not compatible with QR or internert browsing capabilities
- For customers living with disabilities that prevent them from using a mobile menu or price list
- For customers who simply prefer a printed copy
- For other instances that, due to health and safety or legal reasons, you may need to provide alternative formats
- You don't necessarily have to print the PDF — it may be useful to post to your website or email to customers, for example
qReveal features basic functionality that will create a PDF version of your menu or price list, as entered in qReveal.
Some important notes about this version:
- Our system will only output the content in qReveal
- The formatting of these menus and price lists is basic and cannot be edited
- There is no way to change fonts or layout in these files
- These PDFs are not meant to be a full replacement for your menu or price list, especially if you had advanced design requirements
- You may need to make adjustments, such as printing at a larger scale, in order to meet the needs of your customers and comply with local regulations
- You cannot print multiple menus or price lists, if applicable, at once
- Keep in mind that if you make changes to the content in qReveal, you will need to reprint or manually update any copies already printed
To download or print your PDF:
- Open the Publication link on the admin navigation
- Use the dropdowns to select the location and menu or price list you'd like to print
- You can then click Quick Print to print the menu on your printer
- Alternatively, you can download the file as PDF by clicking Download PDF, which can be useful if you need to send the file to someone else to print or share it
